Medical Missions organizes trips each year for volunteers from the United States who wish to visit our mission sites and interact with local people.  These trips offer a unique opportunity to experience first hand the ministry that is being developed in these areas.  No particular skills are required/necessary to participate.  Volunteers typically are involved in construction, teaching, Bible schools or medical care.  If pre-scheduled trip dates are not convenient, a group or church may request a “custom trip” any time during the year.  Medical Missions handles all arrangements for these trips including flights, ground transport, meals, lodging, mission site translators and construction coordinators.

Innovative ministry work is an option we hope all missions groups will explore in planning their missions trips. The areas of ministry we would like for you to consider are:

  • Medical
  • Handicapped program
  • Vocational/educational and spiritual
  • Bible school
  • Recreational activities with area children
  • Visiting rural village churches and pastors
  • Distributing medicines and supplies to local clinics

We realize that mission trips to remote areas of the world are expensive and for many people are a once in a lifetime experience.  Therefore, we aim to offer a broad range of activities for travelers so they can experience the exciting diversity that each country has to offer.  Trips to the following missions sites can include:

Iquitos, Peru (Amazon jungle)

  • Work in a jungle village
  • Stay in a jungle camp and experience the wildlife and flora of the rainforest
  • Visit the Andes Mountains and hike the Inca Trail
  • Visit Machu Picchu (lost city of the Incas)
  • Visit Cusco (ancient capital of the Incas)

Chiapas, Mexico (Northern Part): Chol-Tzeltal Region

  • Our Mission

Our approach to missions is holistic, addressing the medical, spiritual, vocational and educational needs of people who live in very remote and impoverished areas of the world.
